Aaron Parnell is the developer of Reposturing, a groundbreaking technique to enable correct posture in anyone. Aaron developed the technique while working with world-class athletes at the Los Angeles Olympics.

Aaron was chosen out of 2000 nationwide applicants to be a member of the very first Olympic Sports Massage Team at the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics. Aaron worked closely with and intently studied world-class athletes during that time, and uncovered what would become the cornerstones and early developments in what would become his life’s work, Reposturing Dynamics. Ever since his work at the L.A. Olympics, Aaron has tirelessly refined and expanded Reposturing to include specific, and full-featured strengthening and posture correcting programs for the entire body including the, neck, head and face.

For the past 25 years, Aaron has passionately shared his unique knowledge of the human body, and how to correct postural problems with the world through appearances on television, live ergonomics lectures and classes, certification courses, radio talk shows, numerous YouTube videos, two self-published books, Reposturing exercise DVDs, and over 100 written and published articles. Aaron’s expertise covers stress management, ergonomics, pain management, rehabilitation, anti-aging, and sports performance to name a few.

Posture & Low Back Pain

In order to really understand low back pain, you have to look at the job that the low back and pelvis are trying to do. Normally, the bones of the low back line up according to their shape and size in a balanced way so that they are vertically balanced left to right and front to back. When the bones are not carrying the weight evenly, the musculature of the pelvis and outer low back have to engage, or contract, in order to prevent the person from falling over.
